my mind is settled when I rest on a sure foundation.

Cornerstone

The Rock that followed Israel in the wilderness was Christ

The Rock on which our faith is founded is Christ

The Chief Cornerstone of God's Building is Christ

Look at the progression of Isaiah 28:16

Our foundation is a stone

Our foundation is a tried stone

Our foundation is a precious corner stone

Our foundation is a sure foundation

Not just a stone, our foundation is tried,

Not any common stone, our foundation is a precious corner stone,

Not only the corner stone, but also our sure foundation.

Sure, dependable, unmoveable.

With Christ as my corner stone & sure foundation,

I know I have no need to fear that the foundation will change.
